I have been working at Oracle full-time (More than a year)

Management does not micro-manage. Flexible remote work policy and great benefits. Name recognition. Overtime for sales employees. Ability to travel. Breadth and depth of product offering. Great talent stream via constant acquisition. Market power, authority, and swagger.

Slow moving. Very little individual accountability where needed in management and operations. Sales, client success, and support are hindered by complex processes that cost the business an unbelievable amount of money. Employee base so large and far flung that it's impossible to build cross-functional internal relationships. Internal systems are a mishmash of acquired company and homegrown technology. Acquired customers wary of such a big vendor.

    Advice to Management

You would make so much more money by simplifying your order and project management processes. Localizing some key functions (primarily collections) for North America would be a boon to problem resolution. Operate more like the younger cloud company you want to be.
