I have been working at PHH Mortgage full-time (More than a year)

Some flexibility depending on position. No other pros.

Everything. The company has no regard or respect for their employees. No compensation increases for high yearly reviews. Layoffs all the time hurt the morale of the team. Employee input is never considered. No management follow through with any concerns or issues of employees. No opportunities to advance. Horrible company culture. No happy hours, parties, nothing to celebrate success. Sneaky communication ie. email sent over thanksgiving break that all carry over must be used by a certain date then no reminder until the day before at 4:50pm that all days must be relinquished. Scheduling days off in general is a nightmare. "summer is closed" "thanksgiving is closed" "christmas is closed" "how about you take a week on October 2?" (Are you kidding!?!?!?!?) Goals are lofty and contribute to the low team morale. Maybe 2 months out of the year you will meet monthly goals and when you are not on track to meet goals prepare for 8am-8pm days and Saturdays. Work life balance during poor performing months is non-existent. I cannot imagine this company being around much longer with the way they treat their employees. It all trickles down from the top so even your seemingly nice manager has no choice but to treat you like crap to keep their own job. I would never refer a friend or family member.

    Advice to Management

Show that you value your employees. Treat them with respect. Give raises when they are warranted and deserved. Pay your employees fairly and market rate. Set realistic goals and celebrate successes.
