PHM does a great job of knowing each of its employees. Leadership is extremely stable and works hard to create relationships with all employees. Employee satisfaction is taken seriously is a no-frills, tell it like it is approach that is refreshing. Achievable bonuses that filtered throughout all levels of the company make its approach to rewarding great service exceptional.
With the mix of brands in the company, it is hard to understand the core values of PHM in relationship to each of the franchised properties. Employees not always sure if they were an employee of the hotel 'flag' or a PHM employee. To some extent, growth for leadership is limited as the company is small.
