I worked at Paddy Power full-time

Handy if you are a student looking for part time hours. A lot of young people work here. Treble pay on bank holiday. Bonus system.

Instead of an hour lunch you get 4 x 15 min breaks. When I worked there you couldn't eat at your desk or use a mobile phone. Have to work compulsory dates such as Christmas, Cheltenham, Puchestown etc. absolutely no time off given during the numerous compulsory dates. On a 40 hour contract you are entitled to book 7 Saturday's off a year. Working until 2am. Random shifts. No progression. A lot of gossiping and intimidation from senior staff. Favoritism. Dead end job. You're just a number. extremely abusive customers. Do not work here if you are sensitive and cannot take being roared and cursed at down the phone on a daily basis. Working every weekend. No routine. No hot food in canteen. Cold packaged sandwiches out of a vending machine are your food options.

    Advice to Management

Treat your staff with respect. Look at your senior staff and take complaints made against them seriously. Do not promote staff who have intimidating/bullying personalities. Some many hard working qualified people have left this job. Maybe try and hold onto these people?
