I worked at Parkson Corporation full-time (Less than a year)
Atmosphere, products and location are great. The engineers with many years of experience are good people. The building is state of the art.
Salaries are below average and the new management lacks experience. There is a schism between the engineers and new management with regard to products, process and EHS. HR and CEO are making concerted effort to improve moral; however, the problem is that there are inexperienced managers operating (micromanaging) outside of their disciplines.
Advice to Management
They should hire experienced mangers from within or do away with the old hierarchy approach. The managers should be tested on their understanding of the process and their knowledge in the specific disciplines they are managing. There should also be an ethics evaluation concerning EHS issues.
