Loved call center management until shortly before I left. Flexible hours, except during peak was low stress, 12 out of 13 years I was there managers cared about employees and worked hard to keep them happy!
Low pay, poor benefits...ultimately left because home office brought in management that did not know or care about learning how to run a food delivery based call center nor did she care about employees. When you have first 2 issues you have to have someone who cares about employee.
Advice to Management
Care about customers and employees. A CEO that cares makes all the difference...We had a great one who became CEO of YUM; followed by an awesome CEO...but struggled since then to find one to motivate at that level.
