Amazing offices in Henley Fantastic earning potential The founders of the business are inspiring. Progressive and forward thinking

Practicus is an impressive business. They have achieved a lot in 10 years and I am sure they will continue to grow and do very well. However as the business grows I think it will be hard for them to keep promoting the values and culture as I think a lot of this was founded when the team was small and the founding directors were directly involved in the day to day management of the business. There is a clique within the business, if you do not fit in with that element of the company you will find it hard to be successful. They are a high performing business and you can earn a lot of money. In my opinion if you are not working within the NHS sector for Practicus you will find it hard to earn the money they offer or talk about at interview. There is also a confusion and blurred lines between the Interim Management Division and Outcome Delivery brand. You will be micro managed and expected to give updates every few hours and this can be suffocating and frustrating. It is a controlled environment and does not allow for someone with their own style to succeed, only those that fit in with the drinking culture and boys club mentality!

    Advice to Management

Whilst I have made some negative comments above, I hope that the business continues to thrive. I do think some core changes are needed and you need to accept that how it was 4 or 5 years ago might not be the best way to continue or the "model" might need tweaking to adapt to a changing economy etc. You also need to look at how the Interim Management business outside of the NHS can be improved and have a more well known name in the industrys it is trying to service.
