Not a "relationship sale" business. Typically hard to build a long-term book of happy customers business. You got to close them while you got them cause they likely wont be back. Product doesn't always live up to promise. Whenever there is a Cluster-Bluster company drags feet to aid in resolution. Many people have 'tried register tape' most are not happy with results, and mostly not happy with the way they were treated by company.. Don't over-promise the potential
Advice to Management
Continue to provide ongoing training and tools for the reps. Be more responsive to reps when customers have problems or ads run wrong. Give a make-good once in a while, without argument; why sit on all that wasted inventory when you could be keeping customer's happy.
