I worked at Rehoboth McKinley Christian Health Care Services full-time (More than a year)
The only good thing that can be said about this place is it is close to home.
Mostly the administration, and some of the nursing directors and the hospital board. They are all under the assumption that Native American Indians, Hispanics and local people can't do a good job in the upper management levels. Also, everyone bactstabs each other. If you complain about anything, you don't last long. They came up with a new document that needs to be signed which ultimately gives away your freedom of opion and speech. You virtually don't get holiday pay, because although you are mandated to take holidays off, you have to pay for it with your accrued Paid Time Off and if you don't have enough built up because of illness or other emergencies, you just get a smaller paycheck. There isn't enough space to list all of the cons.
Advice to Management
Leave the "Big City" rejects in the big city. If you think culture is opera and theater, you are definately going to be in the wrong region. Big city hospitals DO NOT have better or higher quality service, so quit trying to make yourself into one. Another thing, after the new Indian Health Service is built, you will probably lose a bigger patient load. Also, don't act like you care about the local culture because it is extremely obvious that you don't.
