I worked at Schreiber Translations full-time (More than 3 years)
You learn to deal with lots of stress and very aggressive management.
Management is all over the place. They are all working around each other rather than with each other. There is no clear hierarchy yet they all insist they are the most important, until you have a question they don't want to answer. Negative reinforcement learning. Very little job training; you just get thrown in and you make mistakes as you go. Due to the lack of training, mistakes are common and when you make mistakes, each member of management will personally condemn you for making those mistakes. Management will also give you instruction on how to handle it next time, but each instruction will be contradictory to the last and you are always to blame for their lack of cohesiveness. Management will promise many things during the hiring process, but they do not follow through.
Advice to Management
Management needs to work cohesively. Management shortcomings greatly effect their employees and the work environment. Lack of respect for your colleagues shows weakness as a unit. It is difficult to follow instruction when each member of management provides contradicting information. Figure out who should be providing answers before sending your employee in circles.
