I have been working at ServiceSource full-time (More than a year)
The environment is pretty young and relaxed, with lots of tattooed millennials dressed in graphic t-shirts. Social events and outings happen relatively often. They provide excellent, yet inexpensive health benefits. The management has been very supportive; if you work hard for them, they will fight for your advancement. The "Win as a Team" mentality is a really important part of the work culture. It's a great starting job for a recent college graduate who needs more experience working in an office environment, but doesn't want to wear a suit.
The pay is low, especially in Operations. Lots of cost-cutting measures are currently in effect across the company; sales reps are eligible for quarterly bonuses, but they are now rolling out a new role where the employee performs both Sales and Operations responsibilities...for only Operations pay, with no bonuses. Many jobs are being outsourced overseas, or automated. Management doesn't support working from home, despite the work being perfect for that lifestyle.
Advice to Management
The pay grade for the new MSS position is a disappointing choice; sales work should receive sales comp and sales bonuses. Furthermore, Operations and Sales split up a few years ago for a reason. As the company moves forward and tries to synthesize them again, I think we are going to find some of the same problems resurfacing.
