Decent Health benefits for part time Bearable job while a student
If you think you can work here just to fix computers, dont even think about it! The interviewing manager will tell you it is 80% repairs and 20% sales. It is definately the other way around, you will be pulling your hair out trying to find 2 seconds to even attempt to look at a computer. You are far too busy baby sitting the moronic incompetent staples customers find there ink. You will find ink NONSTOP, that is easily 70% of your day is ink, be it on the phone or in person. You can work as hard as you want, but if your market basket isnt at least $180, start packing bc you will NEVER hear the end of it. The managers are a complete joke, they sit in the office all day with no clue of what is going on out on the floor, they will waddle out once every couple of hours to talk to you like youre 5 years old then waddle back to take a nap. Advancement? Forget about it. Bonus? Waste of the paper it is printed on. You will never get a single answer to any question you have. The store managers are so disconnected with corporate its rediculous. Was bearable while I was still in college, but upon graduation I knew it was time to get away. The entire "Easy Tech" program is just a train wreck of incompetence. There are no tools and garbage software to use. The diagnostic PC came preloaded with WIndows 7 Pro but they downgraded it to XP, like really? Oh, and the customers you deal with in the computer area, GOOD LUCK! I could teach my dog about computers quicker, at least she actually listens to what you say instead of interrupting with moronic questions.
Advice to Management
For the love of God, actually learn about computer repair!!!! You cant dish out some haphazard program with NO TOOLS and abysmal software and expect it to work.
