I worked at Subway part-time (Less than a year)
I had amazing coworkers that I really enjoyed. The work isn't too hard, and because it doesn't have a fast food environment, usually customers are grateful. The worked very nicely around my schedule.
The company values are very low. Not only are 5 dollar footlongs no longer a thing, neither are monthly subs. Subway focuses on their own gain, customers mean nothing to them. They are too cheap to replace cameras, so when money goes missing, everyone is being blamed. At the subway I worked at, 4 employees were suspended because of missing money, leaving only one closer, and that was me.
Advice to Management
Focus more on customer gratitude and less on income.
