I have been working at TMP Worldwide UK full-time (Less than a year)
Everyone at TMP is friendly, there's a great work ethic in the company and winning business and good work is often celebrated. For a large company you are still able to feel like you are making a difference and you are appreciated not only as an employee but a friend.
The company is awfully strict with employee benefits. An investment in the employees is largely needed, even something like a Coffee Machine in the kitchen would be a massive investment in the productivity of staff - especially when there are nearly 100 of us per floor. We have a "fruit delivery" which is enough for half the floor on just a Monday - hardly a benefit/perk. It's these small things that, if finance weren't so strict, there would be a much happier workforce with an appreciation of the benefits that go into making our days better.
Advice to Management
Employees need more opportunities to pass feedback and suggestions on a confidential/anonymous level that are acknowledged and discussed. It is time that you reevaluate the day-to-day benefits that we see as employees, just the small things, that make the bigger differences and make our time at TMP more enjoyable.
