I worked at Teach for America full-time (More than a year)
TFA is exceptionally organized and driven. They operate under a culture of over achievement, and this mixed with smart, driven people is a recipe for success. Activities and events are planned down to the minute, and schedules are followed religiously.
TFA has, on occasion, placed relationships with districts and organizations over the support of their corps members. Thankfully, I did not deal with this situation, but I knew two people close to me who felt unsupported by TFA when they were dealing with issues in their placement school or district.
