I worked at Teavana part-time (More than a year)
- Unlimited cups of tea at work and basic education about loose leaf tea - Barely any physical labor involved - Hours are flexible for students - Good benefits through Starbucks if you qualify
- No chance to move up - Corporate is often unorganized (coupons don't work, product launch dates inconsistent, etc.) - The Teavana sales standard feels pushy and artificial - Commission inevitably pits employees against each other - Hours aren't set from week to week
Advice to Management
You need to invest more effort into hiring quality management. Upper management is constantly changing or left unfilled, and the inexperienced management at store level has left me with a less than professional view of the company.
