Great place to work for career development in sales and in the software development industry. Lots of solid people on board there.
My "quota" was focused more on setting appointments and finding opportunities to pass to the field than closing business. You have to be careful not to pigeon-hole yourself if you're trying to break into the field. Also, product sales teams that shared territories often ran into internal conflicts when pitching to the same customer.
Advice to Management
Become more solution-centric and less product-centric to do away with internal politicking amongst the sales teams. Enable ISRs to carry more revenue responsibility.
