ED is only interested in compliments and actually discriminates against people with disabilities

Pay is decent for a Non profit, you can get good experience, the clients are awesome, some of the staff really care

The ED is the WORST, the Board definitely needs to wake up, this is now a non-profit hybrid with for profit jobs that claim to benefit those with a disability, they discriminate against the people who they serve, they play favorites to those who suck up to the ED, they move their mission around so that it pleases wealthy donors, they are COMPLETELY inflexible with hours and don't problem solve well, they employ mostly African American women in call centers and have very little diversity unless it is a low paying job, they belittle people, they only care about external validation and are not in line with their mission, pardon the pun, but they are blind to all these issues and ignore major problems that will soon be a crisis someday. If you like getting yelled at, you'll like it here.

    Advice to Management

Get in line with your mission, the Board of Directors needs to ask why people keep leaving and why the ED is so fake and phony, she has no business working with people who live in poverty because she only care about rich people, she only seems happy when people are staring at her décolletage or complimenting her outfit. I'm not sure what that has to do with running a non-profit, she ruins the experience for everyone by then hiring yes-men, passive aggressive personas, and vicious social climbers.
