There is a clear discrimination of how you can be promoted. They do not honor their core values systems in my opinion. (Taking Care of Our People. Our associates are key to our success). Sorry, but Not TRUE!!!!
Advice to Management
MET Supervisor's If someone has sorority within your company why not give them the first choice oppose to the new Caucasian new hire. It is very clear to see that maybe you do not value that black lives matter too. It creates a divide within the team to see the obvious. The MET Team has great African American candidates that are overlooked consistently. The African Americans work just as hard or even harder to no prevail. "Home Depot core values" (Taking Care of Our People. Our associates are key to our success). Sorry, but Not TRUE!!!! The new positions that were made available within the MET Team as soon as new Caucasian arrived on board. If a new lead position was available why not allow the multiple MET Team members who have already trained most of your staff the position? Some P/T workers who wanted to be Full time had to wait almost a year before offered Full time. Whereas, new Caucasian workers have immediate consideration. It all matter's. Do you think it's not a noteworthy occurrence?
