I worked at The McIntyre Group as a contractor

They have a fairly large book of business. They will certainly place you if you are looking for a contract position

Sadly, the above is the only positive. Keep in mind that they are trying to place candidates in the same 10 jobs as every other recruiter in the state. 1) ALWAYS negotiate. Their first offer will be a solid 20% under what every other agency is offering for the same job. They will tell you that this is because that is all the client will pay. That is a lie. The client pays an agreed upon rate. You get paid what Leslie is willing to give you. If you negotiate, you'll still be 10% below what other recruiters are paying for the same job. Of course, if Leslie isn't putting enough money in HER pocket, they will try to renegotiate with the client, potentially costing YOU an offer. 2) Do NOT believe what they tell you about the hiring process. They WILL lie to you to suit their needs. After a 3rd interview you should be pretty well assured of an offer. If it isn't coming quickly there is a reason. McIntyre group will not be up front about reason, or may not even investigate the reason. 3) Benefits are virtually non-existent. If you ask they will tell you they have a "Comprehensive" benefit package. What they offer is an EXPENSIVE and INADEQUATE set of benefits. 4) Remember ... you are NOT their client... you are their INVENTORY. And you will be treated accordingly. McIntyre is a hostile and toxic place to work... and that from someone who never even set foot in a McIntyre office. I find Leslie McIntyre particularly, and McIntyre's recruiters generally to be a lying, greedy, dishonest group of people. Deal with them if you must, but I personally would steer clear of anything with the McIntyre name attached to it. Remember - it is YOUR career... not McIntyre's they work in THEIR best interest, not yours.

    Advice to Management

Never put Leslie McIntyre in front of a candidate or a client, either in person, on the phone or via e-mail. Stop lying to candidates. Stop pretending to "represent" them.... you DON'T. Give honest compensation and honest feedback. Your disingenuousness is your #1 downfall. I would walk away from any position presented by McIntyre group.
