I have been working at The Test People full-time (More than a year)

    - Nice social atmosphere, and frequent social events. - Real responsibility if you're on the right project, and the ability to move up in the company. - Possible to move around if you really push for it.

    - No salary structure at all - pay is based on what you negotiate, and whether you can get a better offer somewhere else. Upper management attempt to create an aura of secrecy around salary to avoid unfair pay claims. - The company is unable to complete internal projects; the website is horribly out of date, the internal site was delayed at least two years, and the new processes being introduced aren't happening. Especially embarrassing for a tech consultancy. - There isn't nearly as much training going on as is promised. Initiatives around this are constantly promised and never delivered. - Sharply rising staff turnover is a bad sign all around.

    Advice to Management

Introduce salary bands, fix the entire training side of the company, and invest in internal processes rather than chasing turnover targets.
