Nice big and small company events that happen from time to time. Still retains some of that small company feel for now.

Too much emphasize on PMDs for performance reviews. Most people are too busy, but if you cannot meet your goals because of that, you are blamed for not managing your time well. If you have to work overtime to finish work that is not feasible to be completed within 8 hours, you are also blamed for not managing your time well. Injury rates are unusually high for the industry. EH&S is terrible at trying to reduce the injury rates. HR only cares about hiding them. Management doesn't properly address safety issues that the employees bring up due to fear of upfront costs. Lower than average base salary.

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees more instead of laying off all the ones that are not getting taken advantage of, otherwise you are going to have trouble retaining experience in the company. Also, reporting safety issues does not do much good if management will not act on it. There are already enough injuries to catch OSHA's attention. Now we just need to put down some effort and money and deal with the source of the problems.
