The only positive thing that can be said is that it's a job. Beyond that, the quality and maintenance of the aircraft is poor. Student pass rates are poor. Safety culture is abysmal. An adversarial relationship exists between employees and management. One star for overall rating as it wouldn't allow a selection of something lower.

When the CEO sends out a memo that tells employees that benefits are so poor that they should apply for Obamacare, it's not a good sign. The number of students who fail check rides and have multiple check rides for each certificate and rating is appalling. It's a certificate mill for foreign students, and may be one of the worst training facilities I have ever seen.

    Advice to Management

Complete overhaul. Offer benefits, real ones, if you're going to offer benefits at all. Your students keep dossiers on line for each instructor, cheat with approval of their home airlines, and do the bare minimum. If the students aren't qualified to solo, and you've only got four airplanes in which solos are allowed, and chiefly do only "supervised solos," then you've got a big problem. So long as the money from the Chinese airlines keeps rolling in, you don't seem to care. Ride it all the way into the ground. You shouldn't need to pay a hiring bonus. You shouldn't need to require a one year commitment, either. Think about it.
