I worked at UPS part-time (More than 8 years)

Excellent benefits (best you're gonna get at any part-time employer), educational aid, steady work hours, good job security, regular raises with a high caps on potential hourly earnings, five day works week with plenty of opportunities for picking up extra hours when you need a little overtime. Lastly, advancement opportunities are abundant, as well as specialized training.

Most of the management team will seem out of touch, and base their decisions solely on the bottom line. Upper management holds all the power here and they often make off site decisions that force their subordinates into tough situations. On site management was generally very keen on the needs of their workforce, but seeing as these individuals hold very little real authority it was often impossible for them to influence positive change.
