I have been working at US Army full-time (More than 3 years)
Job satisfaction serving soldiers and their families, command supported, great benefits, multiple world wide transfer opportunities.
Often poor supervision; very low standards of care, administrators (service members) change out about every two years so it's hard to ever get grounded; a lot of time and taxpayers dollars are wasted while we struggle to wade through very complex, contractor developed systems.
Advice to Management
Focus on patients instead of serving your needs. Remove barriers so we can better serve patients.
