Government runs slowly. Be prepared for days where you are very busy and days when you have nothing on your desk. Most offices are flexible with your hours if they do not have enough to do.
Advice to Management
Most interns who intern at State for the summer are incredibly qualified and want to work hard. More serious, long-term projects would be appreciated.
