I worked at Verizon Wireless full-time (More than a year)
Benefits- affordable healthcare, generous tuition reimbursement, decent pay for an entry level type job. Good amount of time off although policies on using it are not company wide.
Constantly in front of nagging customers who depend their lives upon the working condition of their cellphones. Quotas constantly set higher and higher to a seemingly unobtainable level because of prior year successes with less and less promotions like the ones that helped in the previous years.
Advice to Management
Be more flexible in structuring of staff for peak times with alternating schedule options to keep staff from being burned out.
