Corporate greed is setting in at the top. While pretending to care about their employees, it appears by the actions of management that they actually care less about their work force.
Advice to Management
When your balance sheet is solid and your earnings are good, don't punish your employees with taking away good benefits in order to "be in line with the market." You punish the ones that made your company what it is today. Don't spout that you're striving to be the "Employer of Choice" when it's all about the top getting theirs and the rest can deal with a 6% comp cut and 20% raise in health care cost that you announce in an email. Come on, Visa. You cared at one time.
