As an admin., you have to keep up on the latest software to be viable in the job market. This company does not like to pay for it so you will fall behind others in your field. You will not advance your software skills due to this factor. Managers are treated like royalty - no wonder they are happy. Bonuses, meetings, trips, events. Employees, well, one party a year. Look, if you want to work here, you will hear a lot about servant leadership. It is a joke. Managers are actually told to go around and say good morning to their employees. Sorry, but if you have to make that a demand and call it good leadership....there is a problem. The controllers run the company and manage the employees for the most part. There is a huge turnover in these controller/managers as if they are good, they get moved around a lot. These are not necessarily good managers. Maybe smart at what they do, but at a young 20 something, what do they know about managing people? The answer is the company doesn't care. You just a cog in a wheel. Also, well-known bad managers are protected. This not the place to be if you are in administration. Low pay and not valued or respected.
Advice to Management
None. It would fall on deaf ears.
