    I have been working at Waypoint Homes full-time (More than a year)


    The main reason I walked away from my book of business (self employed realtor) was the promise of success with volumn leases and warm leads. It was fun while it lasted. Work/ Life balance suffered but commission structure changed thus the comment. Thats all I can think of for "Pros".


    Inconsistency in management level decisions, disconnected team flow, little to no support, uncaring attitude to deliver a quality end product to our new residents, most of property management staff not wanting to pick up the phone to deal with tenant concerns but instead hiding behind email and call center number making leasing agent the only one personally answering in-bound calls. New commission structure announced giving less commissions to listing agent so at the end of the month, less take home pay ÷ hours worked and on call = not worth the sacrifice. Inconsistency, unethical practices and dishonesty by regional management also make it difficult to succeed. Like running in quicksand. Leasing homes by accident usually turned out enough for monthly quota but if support and genuine care was a normal part of the team effort, many more homes would have been leased.

    Advice to Management

    More hands on and micro management from corporate to regional oversight may help regional management stay alert to core values and original mission statement instead of making their personal agenda the priority.
