I have been working at Websense full-time (More than a year)
Great people to work with, a good learning experience, bagel Friday. Three weeks of vacation per year. Working conditions are comfortable.
Salary is quite a bit below what it should be. Very stressful - tech support is understaffed resulting in an unmanageable amount of work. Almost requires working overtime (which is HALF TIME) to keep up. Skills are not acknowledged, just the number of case closures and customer satisfaction survey results.
Advice to Management
Put more effort into performance reviews. Add a peer performance review for things like technical ability and don't focus entirely on case closures/csat. Hire more people at actual market value so they don't leave 6 months after starting.
