Having worked in RPO for a long time, this is the first company where I feel like I can have a life outside work and where I am valued for what I bring to my team. More than that, though, the company seems to really values is people. Strong senior leadership who genuinely seems to care. Middle managers are competent and supportive/always have your back. Talented coworkers who are also friends. Family friendly work environment. Diverse workforce with many women in leadership positions. Bonus structure for performance. Lots of opportunities to stretch and learn new things. The company really tries to engage everyone. Even though we work virtually, we have a lot of fun with one another and the company really tries to invest in its culture. Everyone is easy to access, including the CEO. Culture is young, always striving to improve and do more. Kudos rewards from anyone in the company are so nice and help me feel appreciated. Delivery team calls are inspirational and supportive. The company really celebrates its successes while acknowledging its struggles. Core values that are meaningful and fleshed out in actions. Lots of new people--constantly evolving.
I've only been with Wilson a few months, and it seems like Wilson has gone through some major growing pains that longer-term employees did not weather so well. Compared to RPO companies I've worked for, the things people have complained about are very very minor. That said, Wilson could pay more money and have better benefits. I know the CEO has really done a lot to implement new bonus structures and help reward people in other ways. Overall, I'm being paid more than my last RPO job--but both roles paid me far less than my market rate. It's acceptable to me because the overall work-life balance I have here is much better. I also feel like sourcing investments could be better, but again, I've seen much worse. The company is pretty smart about where it invests, overall, and I don't have a lot of criticism.
Advice to Management
It's obvious you really care about your people. Keep doing that and continue to be transparent. It's so appreciated. Overall, I'm very happy here.
