```Duties```
We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our team. As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Assist with payroll management, including processing timesheets and maintaining employee records
- Perform general ledger reconciliation and assist with month-end closing procedures
- Assist with financial reporting and analysis
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Paychex, Ceridian, or Workday
- Familiarity with debits, credits, and account reconciliation
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Spanish profiency a plus
