Category Manager
We are looking for a Category Manager to manage the floral category of products for Kennicott Brothers. You will be responsible for the pricing, sales planning, and placement of a product category for a large retailer. This position will partner to develop and execute category strategies with KBC leadership. The goal is to increase sales and profitability of business to drive sustainable growth.
You must have extensive experience in understanding a B2B customer’s needs and the selling environment within the floral catagory. We also want the individual to have a commercial mindset and full comprehension of marketing and sales principles. Exceptional communication skills are also key for category managers.
Requirements
- Experience with floral merchandising best practices
- Basic flower & plant knowledge
- Understanding of category management fundamentals
- Supermarket/mass market floral management experience
- Advanced Excel
- Proficient in Word & Powerpoint
- Good communication & people skills
- Reliable transportation for travel to stores
