Clinical Psychologist Opening

Clarus Health Alliance is an independent practice providing behavioral health services for individuals in the central and southeast regions of Connecticut. We are seeking psychologists to join our Westbrook, CT, location. Services will include psychotherapy services for individuals with a range of psychological conditions. The duties of the position may vary, depending on the applicant's interests and background.

Over the past 30 years, we have cultivated strong relationships with a wide range of referral sources in the communities surrounding Norwich and Hartford. We are thrilled to be expanding into a new area! Current referrals come from a range of sources, including community mental health centers, local hospitals, schools, independent physician offices, universities, and independent mental health providers. We also have many internal referrals.

Competitive applicants will have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA (or equivalent) accredited graduate program. To be considered, applicants must be licensed or license-eligible for independent practice in the state of Connecticut.

Full-time providers receive a competitive compensation package that includes health insurance, coverage of annual license fees, a yearly spending budget, and a company funded retirement account. In our facility, we set a premium on balancing high quality care with quality of life. As such, psychologists set their own schedules, maximizing the opportunity for a personally tailored work experience.

We are now a participating site with the federal HRSA program and the Connecticut Student Loan Repayment Program (SLRP). This means that eligible employees can receive federal student loan forgiveness as a part of their regular duties.
