Project Manager – Construction

Reporting to: Vice President of Office Operations

Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and team-oriented Project Manager to lead construction projects from start to finish. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of project execution—including safety, scheduling, quality, budgeting, and client satisfaction—ensuring successful and timely delivery.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Collaboration

• Foster clear and consistent communication between the Owner, Architect, Construction Manager, and field teams
• Set clear goals and expectations to guide the project team toward successful outcomes
• Promote teamwork and encourage contributions from all team members
• Champion a safety-first culture on every project
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and project partners
• Ensure all team members stay informed of current project designs, updates, and schedules

Safety

• Collaborate with leadership and subcontractors to review and implement site-specific safety plans
• Conduct routine job site safety inspections and ensure adherence to company standards
• Monitor compliance with PPE requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site environment

Scheduling & Coordination

• Partner with the Job Superintendent to develop and manage the overall project schedule
• Track progress and proactively adjust schedules to meet key milestones and deadlines
• Lead and coordinate progress meetings with subcontractors and client representatives
• Prepare and distribute meeting notes when overseeing the project
• Manage submittals and shop drawings to support timely procurement and installation
• Coordinate equipment needs with field leadership
• Establish and monitor project milestone dates

Financial Management

• Review vendor and subcontractor proposals; issue purchase orders and agreements
• Develop and manage project budgets and cost tracking systems
• Generate Bills of Materials (BOM) and cost accounts
• Review job cost reports regularly and identify opportunities to stay on or under budget
• Accurately update monthly financial reports
• Track and manage change orders, ensuring proper cost recovery
• Prepare and submit monthly project billings

Quality Assurance

• Communicate and uphold quality standards based on contract documents
• Perform regular site visits to ensure work meets specifications
• Provide technical support to field teams when needed
• Oversee punch list completion to ensure timely, high-quality project closeout

Client Experience

• Build strong relationships with clients and architects to support long-term partnerships and repeat business
• Ensure timely preparation and completion of all project closeout documentation

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
