Position Summary:
Position: Landscape Account Manager
Location: Laytonsville, MD
The Landscape Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts and developing new business opportunities. This role requires strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of sales strategies, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Major Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for customer satisfaction with our contract maintenance agreements
- Review client and contractor-provided construction documents, plans, and specifications for additional understanding of projects
- Work closely with our Production Managers to ensure timely resolution of any issues that arise on the properties
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients
- Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts
- Produce an acceptable level of Enhancement Proposals each year.
- The ability to maintain a healthy close rate on Enhancement Proposals
- Review of estimate performance on a contract maintenance job
- Maintain a desired level of renewals on contract maintenance work
- Work closely with Business Development teams to drive in new contract maintenance work and achieve revenue targets
- Manage a portfolio of snow jobs during the snow removal season
- Attend weekly staff meetings to review overall branch direction and production progress
Required/Recommended Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in horticulture or 3 years of industry experience
- Must have valid and clear driving record
- English speaking required; bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Must possess great written and verbal communication skills
- Must have a strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications including, but not limited to, Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Must have an understanding of software systems such as a CRM

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
