    Research Chemist

    Burbank, CA

    As a Research Chemist, you will work on the development of aerospace sealants and adhesives products to meet several customer specification requirements. You will be responsible for design, formulation, and test of the products.

    Salary Range: 80-110k

    Key Responsibilities

    • Independently design, plans, conducts experiments and analyzes results. Create reliable data.

    • Lead technical projects and assign tasks.

    • Resolve technical challenges and lead breakthroughs through scientific and statistical methodologies.

    • Contribute to Intellectual Property and legal discussions with knowledge of the intellectual property landscape.

    • Communicate within the work team and provides concise documentation of technical results.

    • Collaborate with platform and marketing to define solutions for customers and propose new products.

    • Collaborate with other departments to help implement products.

    • In compliance with all our organization and site policies and regulations.

    • Follow site EHS policies and maintain clean and safe lab space.

    Qualifications

    • A Ph. D in Organic or Polymer Chemistry, Material Science.

    • Masters degree with 3+ years of experience

    • Bachelors degree with 7+ years of experience

    • 1+ years of experience in the field of sealants, adhesives, composites, or coatings.
