ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer with a proven track record of at least 10 years in the software development field. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex software systems. As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in driving the technical direction of our projects, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Here is what you’ll be doing:

• Technical Leadership: Provide expert-level guidance in Java backend and frontend development. Lead technical discussions, design sessions, and architectural decisions to ensure the robustness, scalability, and performance of our software solutions.
• Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance and scalable backend services using Java and related technologies. Implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration with databases and third-party systems.
• Frontend Development: Lead the development of responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js). Ensure seamless integration with backend services and efficient data rendering.
• Cloud-Native Expertise: Architect and develop cloud-native applications using containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). Leverage cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) for scalability, reliability, and resource optimization.
• DevOps Collaboration: Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines, automate deployment processes, and ensure smooth software releases. Champion infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
• Code Quality and Reviews: Enforce coding standards and best practices. Conduct thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to improve code quality and maintainability.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks across the application stack. Implement caching mechanisms, optimize database queries, and apply best practices for minimizing latency.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices, including data encryption, authentication, and authorization. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Technical Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, API specifications, and deployment guides.
• Innovation and Learning: Stay informed about emerging technologies, trends, and tools related to Java development, cloud-native practices, and frontend frameworks. Integrate new technologies to enhance our software solutions.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

· 10+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on designing and implementing complex systems.

· Proficiency with Go and Node.js

· Proficiency with multiple programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScripts, or similar highly preferred

· Solid experience with frontend (React, Angular, or Vue.js) and backend (Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.) development frameworks, databases, and cloud technologies.

· In-depth knowledge of cloud-native concepts and experience deploying applications on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

· Strong understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), and container orchestration (Kubernetes).

· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.

· Effective communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

· Familiarity with security best practices, authentication/authorization protocols, and data protection.

· Previous experience mentoring junior developers and leading technical initiatives.

· Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools (Jira, Git, Confluence etc.).

· A passion for continuous learning and keeping up with technological advancements.
