Lack of structured growth model forced reliance on promotional activity in the direct to consumer market. Degraded perception as a prestige brand due to high discount activity. Purchase by large conglomerate has degraded the company spirit.
Advice to Management
None to give, the company will soon cease to be and the brand will be just another int eh parent company. The new ownership should focus on returning the brand to a prestige status and accept the short term losses from reducing promotional activity while new brand advocates are cultivated.
