On behalf of the Employee Engagement Committee and the HR Team, we are happy to announce that June Smoller, GTC Chef, is December’s Values Hero, earning the Gosnold Leader Award.
The Gosnold Leader Award recognizes that employees don’t need to hold a management position to be leaders – leadership is a choice, not a rank. This award celebrates all of Gosnold’s values – innovation, integrity, collaboration, accountability, respect, and excellence – simultaneously.

On behalf of the Employee Engagement Committee and the HR Team, I’m excited to share that Betsy Marshall, Assistant Director of Analytics, is our Values Hero for November in recognition of one of Gosnold’s core values: Excellence!
Here’s a little more about Betsy and why she’s so deserving of this month’s award from her nominator, Suzanne McCormack, Director of Community Partnerships and BHJI:
“I have been fortunate to work with Betsy on multiple projects over the years. She always makes suggestions to improve data collection and reporting for programs. Betsy makes herself available to collaborate whenever needed. She is helpful, accountable, and innovative in her ideas to more efficiently collect data using Evolv whenever possible. Because Betsy does an excellent job of looking at a problem from all angles, and more importantly, patiently explaining it, I would like to nominate her to be Gosnold’s Values Hero for Excellence.”
