Employees rate Austin 18.1% higher than the overall average
I have been working at AMLI Residential full-time (More than a year)
The focus and attention placed on fostering a fun and communal culture where everyone works hard but also supports one another is really special. There is real attention placed on recognizing employees as unique individuals and rewarding people for their efforts and achievements, as well as true interest in helping employees advance both educationally and in promotability.
There are two pieces to AMLI Management, the residential side and the development side. While I think there is strong culture on the residential side I do feel we would be even stronger as a company if the development side also focused on the importance of fostering and growing culture.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AMLI Residential (Austin, TX) in October 2010.
It was interesting. Took place at a hotel. Only interview I've ever been in where the interviewer made it seem as though "you'd be lucky to get a shot at joining our company." The weird part is they were recruiting me.
Simple. I wanted what the previous manager was making and just happened to privy to the budget info for the property. Helps to have friends working for a company you are being recruited to work for.
