    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Acturis (Birmingham, England (UK)) in August 2019.

    Interview

Applied online through a recruitment company. Completed a fairly standard GMAT style online test (medium difficulty). Offered an interview soon afterward-initially in London early morning but unable to travel that far in time. Helpful to move the location to Birmingham instead although not pleased that no travel expenses were given.

    Interview Questions

    • Standard 'name a time when ...' questions.

Scenario questions based on insurance examples and terminology. Very little on problem solving etc, felt more like I needed to know things about the insurance business than analytics. Not helpful when I asked if terminology could be rephrased--made it seem like this was basic stuff that anyone should know.   Answer Question
