I have been working at Alpha full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

My co-workers are smart, friendly, gritty and adventurous. There is a mission I believe in to improve how people work and how products are being built and there is a real need by large customers for our platform. Every day there is a new challenge to tackle or problem we can help solve for our clients. This job certainly isn't boring!

    Cons

Some of the internal processes could be improved but these seem like normal startup challenges. I know management is improving on this so not much else.

    Advice to Management

Keep hiring great people! Please continue to invest in our training as it is really important.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Alpha (New York, NY) in June 2018.

    Interview

The hiring process usually involves an initial application, a phone interview and then a long in office interview where you meet and sit with different members of the team. The process is all about getting to know you as a person and how you fit into the company culture, how you work and what experience you have relative to the role. Be sure to also ask questions beyond the traditional interview questions and get to know the team.

    Interview Questions

    • The interview is all about learning more about you as a person beyond what is written on paper.
