I have been working at Alvarez & Marsal full-time (More than 8 years)
Fast paced and competitive environment, transparent compensation structure, solid growth, good upside to compensation, meritocracy, generous benefits and great colleagues, outstanding culture and values
travel is required so need to be open to being on the road 4 days or 3 nights per week
Advice to Management
The recruiting function needs to be streamlined and developed to continue growth opportunities that are present in the market. Need to continue improving internal training opportunities (have come light years in this area in recent years)

The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Alvarez & Marsal (Dallas, TX) in November 2011.
I interviewed on campus. It was a one-on-one interview over a 30-minute period. There were absolutely no behavioral questions. It was all conversational, and, frankly, relatively easy. I was asked back for an office visit in the Dallas office, which was relatively brutal. I had 6 interviews. Yes, SIX! They were all 30 minutes. Four were back-to-back, then lunch, then two more. I really liked the people, but I did not get an offer.
