I worked at American Red Cross full-time (Less than a year)
They train but VERY unorganized!
Management sticks up for the people that work there that treat all the new employees like crap! Instead of speaking to them and telling them to stop running off all the new employees they get employees like me that just quit because we don’t want to deal with it .
Advice to Management
You need to reprimand the employees there that are doing the training because,like myself and others that I know, we all left there because of the bullying from the other employees. I was physically grabbed and made to look like an idiot in front of donors from the training staff. I was treated horribly so I quit which is pretty sad because if the management would’ve spoken to these people when they got all of us complaining that maybe they wouldn’t keep going through employees. I always see that they are hiring phlebotomists especially the Woodland Hills office, which is where I was. I would not recommend working for this company. when I first started all the employees had complained about how much they hated it there but yet they still work there. I thought this company had a better reputation than this, but sadly the management don’t do their jobs !
