I worked at Atlantic full-time (More than a year)
Day to day I knew I'd get an opportunity to contribute, be heard, and further my career. The team there works well together and everyone does their best to get the job done.
Knowing "big brother" was sometimes watching was a morale killer. New policies were much better.
Advice to Management
Keep listening to your employees. Trust them to get the job done and trust yourselves.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Atlantic (Huntsville, AL) in November 2019.
It began with a phone interview with the CEO followed up by a video call with the EVP and the VP of Production. Both calls covered a wide range of topics from my experience, skills, and personality; but also company culture, major projects and long term plans. A week later I traveled to Huntsville for the in person portion where I toured the office, met with the team, and got the opportunity to see day to day operations. At the end of the in person interview we reviewed benefits, compensation, and next steps. The next business day I was offered the position and accepted. The entire process was professional and timely. I felt very comfortable in all phases and was able to put my best foot forward. The whole interview was more of a conversation than being questioned about my skills and experience.
