    Pros

    Great opportunity to learn top trend technologies, flexible working hours, no strict dresscode, friendly environment, and the freedom to be yourself with no filters.

    Cons

    Given that many of AC clients are from San Francisco, those who study at night may have issues losing important meetings with them, though since AC and its clients look to be quite open-minded, it's probably no trouble.

    Application

    I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Avenue Code (São Paulo, São Paulo (Brazil)) in October 2016.

    Interview

    The recruiter found me on LinkedIn. The process consisted of three parts, phone interview, online tests and technical interview. The whole process took about 8 weeks. In this time the recruiters were always helpful and present, by the time the Interview process ended I was already feeling part of the team.
