I worked at Avery Dennison full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great Benefits, good pay. Avery's "Gold" program is bringing in some great young talent, though not many stay. Incredibly generous travel budget (and highly abused).

    Cons

No leadership from the CEO on down. For a company that’s always talking about “shareholder value”, I found it incredible how much money this company could wast. Numerous projects started at a cost of millions of dollars, only to be canceled because management didn't any idea what they were getting into to start with.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Avery Dennison (Clinton, SC) in January 2013.

    Interview

Very basic interview where you meet with various panels across different departments. They go over your resume and ask you the standard interview questions. Very basic, nothing tricky. After the interviews, we went and toured the site. The entire interview took about about half a day.
