I have been working at BOLD full-time (Less than a year)
I've been with BOLD for under a year but feel like I have a good snapshot of the organization enough to write this review.
I genuinely enjoy the work and my colleagues. The company culture is lowkey, supportive, and inclusive. The autonomy each has within their position makes it light on pressure (most of the time) with a supportive environment where one feels like they can reach out to anyone within any department for help.
I had multiple offers when I chose to come to BOLD but picked this company due to the impressions I got of their employees and culture. I am happy to state these impressions have become more concrete as I settle into being an employee at BOLD.
Not a con for the company, but I would have liked to have the option to go into a local office when I felt I needed to. (We are now 100% WFH in the USA.)
Advice to Management
Nothing comes to mind.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at BOLD (San Francisco, CA) in January 2022.
Great introductory interview process followed by a tremendously unprofessional and ridiculous technical screening. They will make you take two hour-long exams and cut you out of the process for small errors that relate back to their ambiguity and lack of question clarity. No review, no call, just a straight decline over their own failures. I know of MULTIPLE applicants that had the same experience. Do not bother interviewing here.
